What is a Diva? You may have heard the term here and there, be it in the media or in passing conversation with girlfriends. It can often come with a negative connotation, but here at DDW, a diva is a word of empowerment. It represents an independent, self-sufficient, successful, confident, beautiful, intelligent, goal-oriented, no-man-needin’ woman. It is something to be proud of and every woman should embrace her inner diva. .

That is what I did when I came up with the concept of Divorce Diva Wear. Reeling from a tumultuous and emotionally draining divorce, I channeled all of my energy, heartbreak, and frustration into the creation of this company. Instead of letting my divorce defeat me, I accepted it and decided to turn it into something positive. With my line of signature tees, I want to empower all women who have suffered the emotional devastation of divorce or breakup. We donate 5% of our profits to The Spring, a local shelter in Tampa for abused women and children.
